‘The Village Idiots’ are a theatre company specialising in mask and physical theatre. Based in Abbots Langley, Hertfordshire UK, we are one of the last few surviving mask companies in the UK.
In the last three years we’ve had sell-out shows, featured in The Scotsman newspaper twice, had a spot on BBC Radio 2 three times, achieved two total sell-out runs, were the fastest selling show at our venue, the glorious Quaker Meeting House, appeared on the cover of The Metro (Edinburgh) and were nominated for a Fringe First award for outstanding new writing.
We are currently starting work on our 2008 production and are looking for significant sponsorship from companies and donations from all you lovely people. This year we are also launching our Educational Mask Workshops. Check back soon for more details.
