Amanda Wilsher has directed The Village Idiots since 2004.
She is one of the country's leading mask practitioners and has done extensive work abroad, including Germany and Israel, directing shows and running workshops. Directorial credits include the national tour of Island for Trestle Theatre Company and assistant director for The Stoneheads at The National Theatre.
She runs moose, a highly successful training company, using her theatre expertise and experience. She works with several public and private sector companies, running workshops in presentation/communication skills, and building creative teams.
She is founder-director of the Young People's Drama Centre where all The Village Idiots first met.
Just over a year ago she gave birth to Alfie-Jack, who without a doubt will be some sort of theatrical genius!
